Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to join the Freelance Board?
Nothing. Creating and publishing your profile is free for freelancers. You only need an email.
Do I need experience to work in events?
No. You set your level on your profile (trainee, junior, mid or senior) and many agencies look for junior profiles for hosts, production assistants, runners or check-in. It is the fastest way to add events to your CV.
Who sees my profile?
Agencies, production companies and event teams registered on Murphy OS, plus Método Murphy students. Only registered users see your email and phone.
Do I need to be self-employed?
It depends on the country and on how you are hired. Some agencies hire by the day and others ask for an invoice. The rates guide explains how to check before your first gig.
What rate should I set?
The one you actually charge: per day, per hour or per project. It is required because it is the first thing a hirer checks. You can change it any time.
Do I have to upload a PDF CV?
No. Your profile is your CV and the Board builds the PDF for you in one click, with your photo and current details.
Does it work outside Spain?
Yes. There are profiles and searches in Spain, Mexico and the rest of Latin America. The app works in Spanish and English.
Can I delete or hide my profile?
Yes, whenever you like. Hiding takes it off the wall immediately and deleting removes your data.
